Frequently Asked Questions:Â
Is Uplift For Her a traditional gynecology clinic?
Not exactly. Uplift For Her is a practice built specifically around your needs, with a personalized approach that’s anything but traditional. Our visits are unhurried, giving you the time you need to ask questions, discuss your concerns, and feel heard and supported.
We combine conventional, holistic, and functional approaches to create a care plan that’s right for you. Our gynecology services include discussing and prescribing oral birth control, annual wellness exams and Pap testing, and IUD removal (we do not insert IUDs), menstrual concerns, hormone support and HRT, and other non-obstetric gynecologic concerns.
Our goal is to make your experience with the gynecologist feel different—more personalized, more thorough, and more focused on your individual health and goals.
Â
Do you do pap smears and annual exams?Â
Yes, we do! We can discuss health screening and perform a pap smear at any of your visits. The cervical cancer screening test (pap smear) can be run through your insurance and the rest of the visit will be paid for as described in the pricing guide.
Â
Do you provide obstetric care or deliver babies?
Uplift For Her does not provide obstetric care or deliver babies. We offer preconception and fertility support, but we do not provide prenatal care or deliveries.
Â
Can I be a patient at Uplift For Her if I don't live in Utah?
Unfortunately, Dr. Cracroft and our licensed practitioners are only available to see patients in the state of Utah.Â
However, our health coach and educational offerings such as workshop classes, digital courses, and the Uplift For Her Podcast are available to women out of state.Â
Â
Do you offer Telehealth visits?
Yes, we do! Just let us know when you schedule and we can setup a video call appointment. Please note, you must still be located in Utah at the time of the appointment as our practitioners are licensed to practice within the state.Â
Â
Do you have any tips for making the most of my visit to Uplift For Her?Â
Yes! Give some thought to your short- and long-term health goals and write them down so we can prioritize them during your visit. We want you to leave feeling like your concerns were addressed and not remembering 5 more questions when you get to the car. Come with an open mind so we can discuss all possible options to help you feel better!
Â
Do you take my insurance?
No, insurance is not accepted for any visits at Uplift For Her. Pricing is 100% transparent and clear before any services are rendered. All our resources go directly to you instead of working with a middle-man.
**We can create a superbill of the services you received. A superbill can be submitted to your insurance as an out-of-network claim. Coverage varies by insurance and plan, please check with them prior to your appointment to determine coverage.
Â
Can I use my insurance for lab work?Â
Yes, you can! Check with your insurance to see what is covered. Please note, we also provide discounted labs for those paying with cash that may be a less expensive option for you. Feel free to ask for cash prices.Â
Lab work for our Wellness + Labs Appointment and Preconception Appointments cannot be run through insurance as it is considered preventative care. These appointment fees include a comprehensive lab panel.
Â
Do you prescribe medications?
Yes! That’s part of what makes integrative care so special—we believe in using all the tools in the toolbox to create the best possible outcome for each patient.
Depending on your individual needs, your care may include prescription medications such as hormone replacement therapy (HRT), GLP-1 medications, and other prescription treatments when appropriate. We also incorporate nutrition, lifestyle changes, supplements, and targeted nutrient support to create a comprehensive plan that’s personalized to you.
Integrative care isn’t about choosing between conventional medicine and a more holistic approach, it’s about thoughtfully bringing the right tools together to support your health.
Â
How do I reschedule my appointment?Â
You can call or text 385-401-2895 for help rescheduling or making an appointment.Â
Â
How much does each appointment cost?Â
The cost per visit varies depending on which services you receive. You can view the types of service and all pricing here.
Â
Do I have to have a specific problem with my health to come see you?Â
Not at all! In fact, that can be the best time to come in. Our team is well-versed in the core pillars of health and can support you in creating a plan to feel your best—before any major health concerns arise.
Whether you’re simply curious about where your current health stands or want to be more proactive, a wellness + labs appointment is a great place to start with one of our nurse practitioners.
If you’re struggling with what to eat or how to properly fuel your body, looking to improve your overall lifestyle, lose weight, or increase energy, health coaching could be the perfect fit. Bonus, you do not have to be located in Utah to work with our health coach.Â
 Â
Do your physicians treat autoimmune disease?
While Dr. Cracroft is not a rheumatologist, she frequently supports patients with autoimmune conditions using a functional medicine approach. Through her work, she has helped many women uncover previously undiagnosed autoimmune diseases and begin addressing the root causes.
Â
Do you see patients for fertility support?
Yes! We support women at many different stages of their fertility journey.
Our preconception care is designed to help you optimize your health before pregnancy, including looking at nutrition, lifestyle, hormones, cycles, and other factors that may influence your ability to conceive and have a healthy pregnancy.
If you’ve been trying to conceive without success, our physicians can also work with you and your partner to take a deeper look at potential contributing factors and determine what additional evaluation or support may be appropriate. Learn more here.
While we can provide comprehensive evaluation and support, we do not provide advanced fertility treatments such as IVF or IUI. If your situation requires specialized reproductive care, we can help determine when a referral to a reproductive endocrinologist or fertility specialist is appropriate.
Â
Does Uplift For Her offer services other than appointments?Â
